Meet Shah Atiqur Rahman, Software Engineering Manager, Listing Intelligence. We talked to him about his role in leading our Listing Intelligence (Search) team and the methods in which he makes a distinction at Realtor.com. Here's what he stated: Q. Tell us about your team. A. We own nine backend search services that are core to the company's success. Among the most crucial is the Search API, which powers results on the Search engine result page. Our tech stack includes Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Elasticsearch, GraphQL, Docker, EKS and AWS artifacts. We also work carefully with the Artificial intelligence team to bring AI-driven functions to the consumer experience, such as search relevancy improvements and AI-powered search. We're a collaborative, friendly group that focuses on strong onboarding and constant support. New group members are guided through the ramp-up process till they're confident taking full ownership of their work. Each employee is helpful to other team members when facing difficulties. We value a culture where wins are popular openly, and setbacks are owned together. We likewise make time for team-building, whether it's virtual hangouts or in-person parties, to keep friendship strong. Q. What's your greatest achievement up until now at Realtor.com? A. I'm most happy of the professional growth I've achieved considering that joining Realtor.com as a Software Application Engineer over 7.5 years back. Throughout this journey, I have actually established deep domain knowledge, remained updated with evolving market practices, and regularly dealt with modern innovations. My commitment to continuous knowing and effect resulted in my promotion to Staff Software Engineer and my function as one of the team's technical leads.
